The beach house we stayed at had a pool and hot tub. The kids and dad jumped into the freezing cold pool and then the hot tub. It was extrememly cold just to be outside in our swimsuits...
The husbands of the group ran across the street and jumped into the ocean and then ran back to the hot tub...even crazier!!!

Trip to North Carolina - Outer Banks (Jan 2010)
We went to the Outer Banks, North Carolina with three of my sisters and their families. We rented a beach house and were able to spend quality time with each other!! Playing on the beach was one of our favorite things to do while we were there. It was great going during the off season....no crowds and everyone was modest.
My sister Kristen.
Her husband (Gary) and one of their children (Jayden).
My brother-n-law, Jason, and their daughter, Morgan.
I had to put in a kissing picture for the kids.

New Year's Eve - 2009
Dad was on-call but was able to run home for a few minutes to enjoy the last little bit of 2009 and bring in the New Year with us.
Family Pictures - 2009
Taking family pictures were a little harder than it looked. Ned was the photographer so he would set the timer and run and then jump over the fence in time for the camera to take the picture. It was very cold, so after a couple of pictures, we would jump in the car and warm up.
Also, the wind was blowing the snow which made it very difficult to keep our eyes open...
sooo we have lots of pictures like these....
Christmas Day - 2009
LOVE! This is mom's favorite Christmas gift!!
Dad had just completed a 24+ hour shift, he was able to enjoy the morning with us despite his fatigue.
Our friend Arlene had everyone in our family pajamas for Christmas. She is amazing!!
The Vilches stayed and painted with face paints.

Our little Brocky
Ned's friend at work gave us this as a gift so we taught the kids a little about other holiday traditions.
