Too Romantic??
This morning T came down with a virus of some sort. He was crying from the pain. M came up to him, initially trying to comfort him, then become somewhat frustrated with the crying. He told T, "don't be too romantic" -- Laura and I looked at each other and just smiled. Laura asked Michael what romantic meant. He said he knew because mom tells him not to be "too romantic" sometimes. He then gave a perfect definition for dramatic. L - informed him of the true meaning. I love hearing kids use new words, even if they aren't used exactly the way they were meant to be used.

Driving to Arizona...
With a few squawables and numberous potty breaks we made it to CO where we spent some time with my bro and his family. Our activities included, launching rockets, walking in CO terrain, climbing trees, watching the Windsor pros at Guitar Hero, and playing with cousins.

We had a rockin' great time! Thanks Windsors!

Adventures in Payson, Az
Our little mountain climbers loved hiking with Grandma and Grandpa!

Look at what Superman jerry-rigged in order for us to go for a long hands-free hike!
Proof that it must've been quite comfortable! He slept for the majority of the 3 mile hike.

Aren't Grandma and Grandpa cute! Love is definately in the AZ air!
Target shooting with Grandpa and dad...while of course learning gun safety.

Happenings in the Valley of the Sun
Surprised the pregnant lady at work!

Played Volleyball!
Slept! (This is truly a perfected talent my dad has....to sleep with oodles of kids and adults running around!)

Danced with cousins and played some more volleyball!

Took Williams' Family Pictures at the Arizona Temple

Played with more cousins!

Drove tractors!

Picked oranges at Grandpa's workyard.

Ate oranges (some for the first time).

Thanks Ted and Sue for letting us stay in your home! Also, thanks to all those who hosted parties! We had a very memorable trip and appreciate your hospitality!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Ned's Grandparents. They are such an amazing couple and have such an incredible legacy!

We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. And ended the evening with a spectacular display of flames (thanks to some Christmas Trees that had already served their purpose and Uncle Elliott and his box of saw dust).

Trip Home!
The trip home was full of visits with family members!! Now that it has been a couple weeks since we were in the car traveling home...I have forgotten about what it was like...I know feel as though it went quite well. Crazy...yes! (I think our minds are supposed to think this way, otherwise we might not have anymore road trips.) The kids were in earthly heaven!! We began our journey home through snow, ice, cold and did I mention...Texan winds!
This is gorgeous terrain just outside of Payson, AZ! What a site - it was beyond AWESOME to see!!!!!
We couldn't drive across the US and not visit Cadillac Ranch!!!

We visited the Lion, Tigers, and Bears at the local Zoo! This zoo has some fun coyotes that would howl back each time we would howl at them. Really fun for the kids....and of course for myself. :-) Thanks Windsors for all the great FUN!

Then we were off to our next stop - the other Windsors! Having a big family is poppin!! (Cool, I'm starting to sound like a teeney bopper.) Not only did their daughter read T-Man to sleep but they also performed a cool dance for us. I wish I had pictures!

Christmas
Dad was working a 24 hour shift on Christmas Eve. Gratefully (and as an answer to prayers) his scheduled opened up enough for us to go and visit with him for a couple of hours during this special evening. We had an awesome time!

Some of dad's co-workers joined in with us and acted out the Nativity while dad read the story of Christ's birth from the Bible.

We are so thankful for the gift and life of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

T-Man Turns III
Our Sweet T-Man turned III!!

Some of his favorite things are: wrestling with dad, playing cars, Lightning McQueen, The Horse Movie - Spirit, going to church, going to the YMCA, reading books (especially about animals or cars), doing anything outdoors, homemade yogurt, and ranch dressing.
T is always full of love and life. He is very affectionate and very active!

Thanksgiving Break
For Thanksgiving, my sister and her family came to visit. We had a genuine BALL!

We all went together to pick out "The" Christmas Tree. Since we have lived here, we have gone to a tree farm owned and run by Grandparents and their Grandkids. Any tree on their lot was $35. We found an incredible tree that had branches pointed upward that helped us remember the true meaning of Christmas!

Everyone had a chance to help cut the tree down with the saw. It was a memory we won't forget!
